Draht-Knips GmbH, Germany, Quality Steel Wires for the Brush Industry

Draht-Knips is a family company that has been operating in the brush wire market for more than 70 years now. Throughout those years, the company has always served brushmakers all over the world by concentrating on the production of steel wires, both regular high carbon steel and stainless steel.
The production range is divided into three lines:

1. Crimped Steel Brush Wire, hard drawn, bright, galvanized or stainless, in strands, cut or coils, diameters : 0,10 - 1,00 mm

2. Tempered Steel Brush Wire, round, bright or black, in coils on spools or cut to lengths,
diameters : 0,20 - 0,85 mm flat, black tempered, in coils on spools or cut to lengths : 1,0 x 0,15 mm - 1,8 x 0,45 mm

3. Flat Gutter Broom Wire "SS-Supra", hard drawn, phosphate coated, galvanized or stainless, cut, in bundles with predeterminated number of wires, or coils up to 500 kgs ( Z2 ) .

For over 10 years now, Draht-Knips is ISO certified giving the necessary stability in quality to their products that is required today by all customers. The complete process of wire production is controlled in the factory. Nevertheless Draht-Knips has kept the ability to react quickly and with flexibility to the demands of their partners. Often, Draht-Knips can deliver orders before larger companies have even been able to deliver the confirmation.
