The youth team is part of an academy attached to a first division team in Cyprus.

Having completed several football coaching modules through the English FA, and with a First Aid course to complete required qualifications, challenges and opportunities have been many and varied.
"Football is a sport that can bring together groups of young people that would otherwise not be operating as part of the same team. You need time and effort both in regards to coaching football skills but also passing the message that the total can often be more than the sum of it's parts", says Carolos Petrou.
