Weiler Corporation Announces New President/COO

Weiler Corporation is pleased to announce that Chris Weiler has been promoted to President/COO. In his new position, Chris will be responsible for Sales, Marketing and Operations. Preceding President/CEO Dick Gommel will continue as Weiler's CEO, and Karl Weiler will remain actively involved with the corporation by continuing to serve as Chairman of the Board.

Prior to joining Weiler Corporation Chris was a product manager for Constellation brands, an international producer and marketer of wine, beer, and spirits. In 1998, Chris joined Weiler Corporation as Business Manager of Maintenance Products. Chris has advanced through the company being promoted in 2000 to Market Manager - Channel Solutions, then moving to Worcester, MA in 2001 to take the position of General Manager of Anderson Products (a subsidiary of Weiler Corporation). In 2003, Chris moved back to Cresco and became Vice President of Marketing. Most recently, Chris held the position of Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Chris has a BA in Economics from Skidmore College and an MBA from the University of Rochester with a concentration in Marketing.
