INTERBRUSH REVIEW - Exhibitors
G.D.F. and MILEVA
Interbrush was a bit different than the last edition in 2004, the visitors give the impression of being really interested in the products and coming to visit our stand not only to look and then forget.. they were more professional than 4 years ago.
Mileva launched a new product, coloured foamed plastic backs, they are attractive and cheaper than the varnished type. The colours available are red, light blue, dark blue, silver, green, brown, yellow. Using these backs brushmakers can offer something different without too much increase in their sale prices.
We and Mileva are happy about this exhibition, organization was good and easier to manage than last time and however, as usual, was a very important meeting point for the operators in our field.

This edition of InterBrush has been the first our company has visited, we met many people, we also observe that few factories produce our type of product and for us it was a very important meeting point. Our company produces extrusion and co-extrusion profile and pipe, we work on the designs of our customers. At interBrush we met many of our customers that we have never seen face to face before, so now a voice in the telephone has become a person.

Anglo China Sourcing Ltd
Anglo China Sourcing Ltd were proud to have a stand at Interbrush 2008 for the first time. Tim Kleingeld and Marita Keremezo, the owners of Anglo China Sourcing Ltd, had exhibited at the previous four Interbrush/Interbrossa fairs and were very excited that this year, for the first time, they were exhibiting as company owners.
Tim and Marita have been closely involved in the Brush Industry for over 35 years and can clearly see the enormous changes taking place in the industry. Indeed it was the rapidly changing industry that inspired Tim and Marita to form Anglo China Sourcing Ltd. As the name suggests we are a sourcing company, with three offices strategically located in China, and a network of approved suppliers who are apple to supply anything from A for Artist brushes to Z for Zink plated ferrules.
We feel that our business model meets the needs of today for brush manufacturers world-wide who are looking for a safe, reliable and trustworthy partner to help source directly from China, without incurring the heavy overhead usually associated with traditional merchants.
Anglo China Sourcing Ltd essentially acts as 'your office' in China and offers many decades of experience in trading with the Far East.
The major changes in the industry over the last four years have been the continued consolidation of the manufacturers in Europe and the continual movement of production to the Far East.
In terms of raw material supply, bristles and horse hair have seen enormous price inflation over the last two years with many prices rising by over 100% during this period. The increasing prices and the unstable quality have led many manufacturers, who traditionally would only use natural hog hair, to move to either mixtures or pure synthetic filaments. Having recognized this trend, ACS have teamed up with a leading producer of synthetic filament in China, allowing ACS to offer all the necessary filaments a manufacturer requires to produce top quality brushes.
Due to our long history in this industry we also have many contacts in other countries enabling us to also source non-Chinese products.
We would like to thank our customers and friends for visiting our stand and for their continued support. We also look forward to creating new and strong relationships with the many other interested parties who visited us during the fair.
If you have any enquiries or questions please don't hesitate to contact us.

Flock Development & Research
We had an excellent show, in the new Halle 4, with a world wide spread of visitors.
There was much interest in our new " Non Rip " pad material, broadening the use of pads to rougher surfaces, and the non abrasive cleaner , Raabah.
With the growth of high gloss wood treatments, which require an aeration free finish, we had great interest in our development of Coating specific pad applicators, to be sold as an integral part of the pack, or sold along side in co-ordinated packaging.

The show was very important, we consider it as our feast or celebration of our industry, the event is very significant.
Our company produces PVC & PPN monofilament, also we will soon be producing PET filament.
The show was a great success and we all enjoyed the event very much especially as most people did not think that there is such an industry as ours in Egypt .
