Asiamold 2008

The second edition of Asiamold 2008 will take place at The China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex (formerly named Guangzhou International Convention & Exhibition Centre), with several international heavyweights confirmed to showcase their latest technology. This year's event, together with the fringe programme theme of automation, will offer professionals an opportunity to not only source innovative products but to gather valuable industry trends and information.

Exhibitor participation continues to grow at a steady pace
A testament to the growing success of Asiamold is the confirmed participation of leading industry companies from 16 countries and regions including China, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, the UK and the US. This year's Euromold Pavilion has already seen a 20% exhibitor participation increase from last year's debut event.
ACE Mold, Century Step, Chit Yong Mould Base, Epicor Softwar, Erowa, Hongrita, Kaihua Moulds, Open Mind, Qingdao Heng Ke, Tebis, Vega, Wenzel Measuring Machines and XO-Designs are just some of the leading brands that will be exhibiting at Asiamold 2008. While many have plans of increasing their presence at the show, nearly 250 exhibitors have already confirmed their participation on 15,000sqm gross of display.

Asiamold's Exhibition Advisory Committee selects Automation theme for 2008
With the recent surge of local companies optimising their automation production, Asiamold's Exhibition Advisory Committee has selected Automation as its theme for this year's event fringe programme. With the help of some industry leaders, exhibitors and visitors will be given full insight into these trends.
An Automation Workshop will be set up by several companies include software suppliers Epicor and Unigraphics, machinery suppliers Makino, measurement equipment suppliers from Brown & Sharp and presetting station and robots from Erowa.
All machinery and equipment inside of the Automation Workshop will be fully running for the entire 3-day fair, demonstrating automatic production similar to an advanced mould shop. The demonstration is the first workshop of its kind in Asia and will include real time planning, machining of electrodes with automatic work changer, and presetting station and steel insert presets.
In addition to this valuable workshop, an Asiamold Forum will be held in tandem with the fair on 25 September, featuring the latest market information and up-to-date technology in relation to the Automation Workshop.
Running from 24 - 26 September 2008, the fair will also debut a new showcase, Asia Fastener, providing a complimentary product range for the mould making and tooling, design and application development industry.
